At Windmill, it’s our mission to uncover thrilling new Australian stories and dynamic ways to tell them.

Your donation in 2025 will help us launch one of our most epic new works yet – Mama Does Derby.

Premiering in 2026, Mama Does Derby will be presented in three major Australian festivals and will be performed in vast warehouse style spaces, featuring roller derby athletes and live music alongside our cast.

We’ve got the story, we’ve got the team, but we need your help to us bring this ambitious work to the stage.

Your tax-deductible donation before June 30 will support everything from an epic lighting design, a killer soundtrack, gruelling skate training sessions to knee pads (really thick ones).
