Front Row Fund

At the forefront of supporting the arts

Windmill Performing Arts is much more than just a theatre company. It is a passionate company that advocates social inclusion through its Community Program as well as providing up-and-coming creative professionals the chance to springboard into their career.

These opportunities are made possible only by contributions made to the Front Row Fund. Through this program, donors will make a difference to the community, help to positively shape the self-esteem and encourage creativity of the next generation of Australians. 100% of donations are used to:

  • Provide tickets and assistance with transport for diadvantaged school groups to attend a Windmill performance free-of-charge.
  • Provide tickets for disadvanteged children and families within the community to attend a Windmill performance free-of-charge
  • Enable an emerging artist or creative personnel to take part in a residency, performance or mentorship with Windmill.

To support your community, we invite you to make a donation. Contact Kate Commis on (08) 8415 5326 or kate.commis@windmill.org.au for more information.

All donations make a difference. Donations of $2 or more to Windmill are tax deductible.

"Thank you very much for the tickets. I never get the chance to go anywhere much as I can't afford it. It was an excellent night, I loved it very much and so did my family. Once again, thank you."
Community Program Recipient

"The children in our Special Class, who all have severe learning disabilities, wrote pieces of work [about the show] ... they gained a tremendous amount from this event, as did the teachers."
Teacher, Para Hills School

"Most of our students have never experienced in-theatre productions before let alone been to the Festival Centre Complex. Funding excursions is quite an issue for us and we can rarely get our students to Adelaide for any reason. They are always very excited about making the trip and the setting of the Festival Theatre fascinates the students and broadens their world."
Teacher, Murray Bridge South Primary School
